Meet Your Therapist | Counselling & Psychotherapy in Ontario
Because therapy should actually feel human.

MSW, RSW, CC-PMH
Registered Social Worker, Psychotherapist
Canadian Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional
Founder | The Labyrinth Alcove
I dreamed about creating an intentional space to support women’s mental health through the real, messy, and unfiltered chaos of everyday life— a space that could evolve through every era of the chaos.
And so, armed with a dream and a little (okay, a lot) of caffeine, The Labyrinth Alcove came to be.
While evidence-based care is the foundation of my practice, effective therapy is about so much more than clinical technique alone. It’s about building a genuine connection with the person sitting across the room (or, in this case, the screen). It’s about meeting you where you are, listening deeply, and supporting you through what’s hard in a way that will actually feel human.
Real people.
Real conversation.
Real connection.
You are welcome here, exactly as you are.

I use an evidence-based, integrative approach to counselling and psychotherapy— drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other modalities— while thoughtfully adapting my approach to fit YOU.
We will collaboratively work to better understand what you’re navigating, explore any pattern that may be keeping you feeling stuck, and build a skill-set that can support meaningful change.
I am especially passionate about working with:
The Perinatal Path— Pregnancy, Postpartum, and the beautifully chaotic (and often messy) transition to Parenthood. Becoming— or being— a parent can bring happiness, exhaustion, and everything in between.
Early Adulthood— Early adulthood doesn’t come with a roadmap, and it’s okay to outgrow the old version of yourself. Here, we can be honest about the mess and uncertainty— you don’t have to have everything figured out. We can work together to figure out how to move forward in a way that actually feels like you.
The Overwhelmed— When life is moving too fast and you feel like you’re spinning out of control, we help you slow down, untangle the chaos, and find your footing— one gentle step at a time.
I want our work together to feel steady, safe, and highly supportive. Where you don’t feel like a problem to be fixed, but a person who is navigating a very real human experience and is finally able to be seen and understood.
